David Rastrick brings a mix of uplifting tunes to Six Degrees on Sunday evening 8th of October.
Enjoy a selection of classic and original reggae, soul, jazz, blues, acoustic tunes and more, with trumpets, vocals, guitar, percussion and live looping. David’s original songs draw on themes of inspiration, community, love, freedom and sustainability.
David’s influences include Bob Marley and the Wailers and Miles Davis, and you’ll hear that in the music. While David performs frequently throughout Great Southern and South West WA, he has toured the solo show ’round Australia.
You may know David Rastrick from any of the bands they run; Jazztrix, MoonBass, Rastatrix, EXP, Southern Soul, or Rainbow Coast Big Band, or their work as a multi-instrumental session musician playing with bands all around SW WA. The solo show draws upon influences from all these shows and distils them to their simplest essence.
