Live and Free in the Alfresco!

I first started writing song, looking out of the window of rundown social housing in the middle of a French ghetto. Nowadays, I’m singing from the window of Lola Bonga, my little van and the scenery is constantly changing.

My name is Silayan. It means “to catch a glimpse” in my mother tongue. 

The music you’ll be hearing is a mix of covers, original songs and improvisations. I will tell you stories of love, road trips and maybe how it feel to live in an abalone shell. You’ll hear me sing in French, Spanish and sometimes Tagalog.

I’d describe my music as a melting pot of jazz, folk and reggae. Special friends will be joining me for this evening to create that joy and magic we all love.
