Short Black is a newly formed duo consisting of Matt Black and Sandy Green, both accomplished musicians with years of experience behind them. The duo aim to please all by being versatile and covering songs from a number of genres, including country, blues and rock ‘n’ roll. Their selection of songs stems from the 1960s and up and is comprised of ballads and upbeat music. Artists they cover include John Prine, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Divinyls, Pretenders, The Beatles, Ben Harper and many others. Matt and Sandy both play the guitar; Sandy plays bass, and Matt adds his unique finger-picking style to the songs. Their music is sure to get people singing along and tapping their toes.
