MoonBass 4 is comprised of Rosie Williamson – vocals and keyboard, David Rastrick – trumpets, vocals & bass, Ross Dwyer – guitar, and Greg Watson – drum-set and synth-bass.
MoonBass have been playing together in the Great Southern region for several years, rising from the ashes of Soul Porpoise, starting as a trio, and growing to include Rosie Williamson on vocals in 2021.
Williamson had been studying music at SR TAFE and Rastrick, who was lecturing music there, heard her and invited her to join MoonBass.
Since, as well as playing several shows at local live music venues, MoonBass has featured at local music festivals and private events, as well as releasing their debut EP online and on CD in 2023.
MoonBass are currently working on material for their upcoming album recording, and a sample of the new, funky tunes can be heard at this live show, alongside well loved classics.
You can dance to, and enjoy, MoonBass’ funky live music at Six Degrees from 8:30 to 11 p.m. on Saturday 6th of April.
