Michael Day’s New A/B Single
The gig also doubles as a celebration of Day’s latest release: the A/B single Shadows and Shapes. The A-side single dropped on 26 August 2025, followed by the B-side Scars on 30 September 2025. Together, they showcase Day’s knack for moody storytelling wrapped in folk textures.

Why Michael Day?
Known for tongue-in-cheek lyricism and folk storytelling, Michael Day crafts songs that ask big questions while keeping listeners grounded in melody and rhythm. His influences include Josh Pyke, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Angus & Julia Stone, but his sound leans darker and moodier, giving his shows a distinctive atmosphere.
Having shared the stage with Boy & Bear, Day is now touring regionally and nationally through October and November. This Albany stop is a rare chance to see him up close in a free, intimate setting.
